Lahore: Mohammad Hafeez complained about the non-selection in the ODI team.

In a virtual press conference, Mohammad Hafeez said that he is physically and mentally ready for white ball cricket including ODIs.

I had the opportunity to play all three formats, I left Test cricket voluntarily, I am available for both formats of white ball, I always played cricket with dignity and tried to perform for the country, I was ready to face challenges. I want to quit cricket with dignity.

Asked not to be over-tested in bowling, he said: “I am ready to perform as an all-rounder. I am a bowler of 4 overs in T20s and 10 overs in ODIs.

The captain has to be given the opportunity to bowl in the match. “I am going to play the 100th T20 match of my career. I will try to make it memorable with a century and Pakistan’s victory,” said Hafeez.

He said that the top order has performed well in the ODIs against South Africa, Fakhruzzaman is in excellent form, Babar Azam is performing well, the problems of the middle order will also be resolved soon, he said.

That there are good players in the lower middle order, young people continue to work to improve their fitness and skills to prepare for the future, the results of the work to improve power hunting, this effort should continue.

Hafeez said that he always guides the young cricketers in every possible way and will still support them in every field wherever possible.

To a question, the all-rounder said that whatever Sarfraz Ahmed or Mohammad Rizwan played for Pakistan, I pray for him.
