A few days before the start of the World Cup 2023, the captain of Bangladesh and famous all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan suffered an injury.
According to media reports, Shakib Al Hasan injured his heel while playing football during practice due to which he did not even play the first practice match against Sri Lanka yesterday.

In the warm-up match played yesterday, Shakib-ul-Hasan did not come to the ground at the time of the toss and it was reported that his heel was swollen, and he had severe pain in the heel.
According to reports, Shakib Al Hasan will not be able to play the second warm-up match due to a heel injury and it is feared that Shakib Al Hasan will not be seen in action in the opening match of the World Cup against Afghanistan.
It should be noted that after the news of differences between Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal for several days, this news came out that Tamim Iqbal could not make a place in the team for the World Cup due to not getting complete relief from the injury.
Shakib-ul-Hasan is one of the best all-rounders in the world and he has played 240 one-day games for Bangladesh in which he has scored more than 7300 runs and wickets and in the last World Cup also Shakib-ul-Hasan scored 606 runs. He was the third top scorer.
