Lahore: Junior Hockey Asia Cup training camp has been made conditional on vaccination of players.
According to PHF sources, the Hockey Federation is awaiting the government’s response to vaccinate the players and staff.
PHF officials had on March 9 requested the NCOC for vaccination. Camp Karachi is scheduled for the scheduled Junior Asia Cup in Bangladesh from July 1.
The Hockey Federation also wants senior players to be vaccinated for international events. PHF officials expect a positive response to the vaccination by next week.
After being vaccinated like a cricket team, a strategy has been devised to set up camp in a bubble environment.
