Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the Indian version of the novel corona virus, the “delta variant”, has so far spread to 80 countries.

An interview with Dr. Maria Van Karkhov, head of the WHO’s technical team on Covid 19, was published on Twitter yesterday, in which she said that four new strains of the corona virus, including the “Delta variant”, the original Covid 19 are capable of spreading faster than viruses.

It should be noted that the Indian version of the novel corona virus, which has been named as Delta variant, started spreading from India last year. The same is being attributed to the recent and third wave of corona virus in India.
