Islamabad (Shahid Kazmi – Raztv.net) More problems for PDM as ANP also hinted to separate ways from PDM, the opposition alliance against the current regime of PTI. ANP leadership is angry at the show cause notice issued by PDM leadership. Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, PDM General Secretary and Senior Vice President of PMLN issued this notice on behalf of PDM Alliance. Questions asked in this SCN to ANP regarding their support to PPP for nomination of Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate of Pakistan. ANP not only diverted his tone to a next level of harshness but also paved his way out of the PDM Alliance. Ameer Haider Hoti, Central Senior Vice President of ANP, termed this Show Cause Notice as mala fide intentions. Mr. Hoti further criticized PMLN role to get elected his senators with the support of PTI and PMLQ from Punjab. Ameer Haider Hoti categorically stated that ANP have valid reasons to support PPP in the Senate of Pakistan to get nominated and notified Mr. Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.
PDM Alliance issued show cause notices to PPP and ANP in the wake of their patch up with BAP, a close ally of Current Government, seeking support for nomination of Senator Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani. A source confirming a strong response of show cause notice is also on cards from PPP. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed the senior leadership of PPP to counter this notice by PDM with a harsh tone. PDM Alliance is really jolted by the strong reply from ANP. According to sources, PDM leadership wasn’t expecting this kind of tone both from PPP and ANP. It is further to the drowning boat of PDM, some voice of vocal within to PDM against these show cause notices.
On the other hand, PPP and ANP both are practically now out of the PDM Alliance and they both think PDM is acting on a one party agenda of PMLN. More or less, the PDM alliance fears a breakup as the remaining PDM parties also think the same. In recent political events, PDM fails to gain popularity in public as this alliance becomes PMLN centralized. Maryam Nawaz always tried to be heard from PDM forum but not taking this forum as a collective effort by all opposition parties. PPP sources agree that PPP leadership is of opinion, that the Sindh Government is on stake, with moves of PDM and PMLN is nothing to lose with comparison to PPP. ANP is now also thinking on PPP lines.
PMLN occupied the face of PDM in recent days. More of as an opposition alliance PDM became spokesperson of PML, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. PPP sources confirm that PPP is not going to take this situation anymore.
