Nowshera : Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that even if they do something against the Chinese mafia, they say that we are special people.
Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Nowshera on a one-day visit where he laid the foundation stone of a housing scheme in Jalozai. This plan of cheap flats will be for low income people.
Addressing the function, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the society which cannot take care of the weaker sections has not gone up, the project in Jalozai will provide a home to the low income group.
He said that supremacy of law means bringing the powerful under the law and making them a separate law for the powerful in the republic but people in Pakistan do not understand the rule of law and do not want to come under the rule of law.
The Prime Minister said that sometimes alliances like Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are formed and sometimes the sugar mafia sells expensive sugar to the people. Do not pay taxes
He said that there should be one law for the weak and the strong. If they do something against the sugar mafia, they also say that we are special people. The sugar mafia is making profit by selling expensive sugar.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed and Special Assistant for Health Dr Faisal Sultan.
Information Assistant Kamran Bangash said that the Prime Minister would also inaugurate a new OPD block at Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate Dara Adamkhel Road in Peshawar.
It may be recalled that in August last year, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
Addressing the inaugural function, the Prime Minister had said that BRT is the best project in Pakistan. BRT will solve the traffic problem.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that the track of BRT Peshawar is 27 km long. I had some reservations about the BRT project. I pay tribute to Pervez Khattak on the BRT project. My reservations on BRT were wrong. Pervez Khattak, you were right.
