Karachi: Former international tennis player Khawaja Saeed Hai has passed away.

Saeed Hai, 91, had been ill for a long time. He was Pakistan’s number one player and also represented the country in the Davis Cup. He participated in the Wimbledon Open Tennis Championships in 1955 and also represented Pakistan in the French Open.

Born on March 5, 1930, Khawaja Saeed Hai studied at Aligarh University. He became a professional tennis player in 1953. He left behind 4 daughters from his first wife and 2 sons and 2 daughters from his second wife in Swaguran.
