Karachi: Dua Zehra and her husband recovered from Chishtian were presented by the police in the Sindh High Court where the girl confirmed the marriage of her choice before the court. The High Court ordered to get the girl medically examined to determine her age.
According to details, when the Dua Zehra case was heard in the Sindh High Court, the police presented Dua Zahra and her husband. As soon as the Dua entered the court room, the mother tried to hug her daughter.

Advocate General told the court that Zaheer married Dua Zehra in Punjab, there was no violation in Sindh. The kidnapped statement should be recorded.
At the request of the lawyer, the court asked the girl Dua Zehra what is your name? how old are you? On which Dua Zahra recited the word and stated that my name is Dua Zahra and I am 18 years old, I want to go with my husband Zaheer, he did not force me but marriage of choice, I am not kidnapped. Done, I have been brought from Chishtian.
During the girl’s statement in the court, the father tried to intervene, but the superior judge silenced the father by shaking him.
Later, the Sindh High Court, while ordering a medical test in two days to determine the age of Dua Zahra, adjourned further hearing of the case till June 8 and directed to send the girl to a shelter home.
