KARACHI: An accused in the murder case of journalist Athar Matin, who was killed in Karachi, has been arrested from Khuzdar area of Balochistan.
Confirming the arrest of the accused, Balochistan Parliamentary Secretary Information Bushra Rind said that the accused involved in the murder of journalist Athar was arrested by Balochistan and Sindh police in a joint operation from Khuzdar.
Bushra Rind said that the arrested accused has been shifted from Khuzdar to Karachi.
Parliamentary Information Secretary Bushra Rind said that the arrested accused was said to be from Khuzdar.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, Athar Matin, a senior journalist working in a private TV station, was killed while resisting a robbery while he was returning home after dropping off his children at school.
