LAHORE: A youth shot dead his brother-in-law and his friend while trying to stop them from playing online game Pub G in Nawankot while injuring three family members.
A youth opened fire on family members in Nawankot area of Lahore, injuring five people. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where two people, including a woman, were confirmed dead while others were injured. The treatment is ongoing. Police say the deceased woman was the sister-in-law of the accused while the youth was her friend.
According to DSP Omar Baloch, the shooter was a fan of the online game PubG. The family of the accused used to stop him from playing in pubs. Today, the accused brought a pistol from somewhere and opened fire on the family members in the style of an online game. Meanwhile, a friend of the accused was also injured in the incident.
