ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on a three-day visit accompanied by a delegation.
Shah Mehmood arrived in Tajikistan. At Dushanbe Airport, Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Hussainzada Muzaffar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Imran Haider, Deputy Ambassador Shahid Ali Sehir and senior officials of the Pakistani Embassy warmly welcomed the Foreign Minister. ۔
The Foreign Minister will lead the delegation tomorrow to attend the “Ninth Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process” conference in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, entitled “Strengthening the Consensus for Peace and Development”.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will also address the Ministerial Conference, in which he will highlight support for Pakistan’s positive efforts in the Afghan process, Afghanistan’s development and connectivity.
The Foreign Minister will attend the Heart of Asia Conference, as well as meet with his Tajik counterpart, Sirajuddin Meharuddin, and the Tajik top leadership.
