ISLAMABAD: After the swearing in of the new federal cabinet, the portfolios of the ministers were handed over to them.
In the federal cabinet, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has been given the portfolio of interior ministry and former finance minister Muftah Ismail has once again been given the ministry of finance while Maryam Aurangzeb has been given the ministry of information.

Besides, Ahsan Iqbal has been given charge of Planning Ministry, Saad Rafique has been given charge of Railways, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar has been given charge of Law Ministry and Murtaza Javed Abbasi has been given charge of Parliamentary Affairs.
Jamhoori Watan Party’s Shahzain Bugti has been given the portfolio of Ministry of Anti Narcotics, Balochistan Awami Party’s Israr Tareen has been given the portfolio of Defense Production, JUI’s Mufti Abdul Shakur has been given the portfolio of Religious Affairs, Talha Mahmood has been given the portfolio of Saffron and Maulana Asad Mahmood has been given the portfolio of Communications.
Tariq Bashir Cheema of PML-Q has been made Federal Minister for Food Security and Syed Aminul Haq of MQM has been given Federal Ministry of IT and Telecommunication.
Murtaza Mahmood of PPP has been given charge of the Ministry of Industry.
