KARACHI: Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi arrived in Amman on an official visit to Jordan where he met top military officials.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi met with Jordanian Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, Director Air Operations and Commander Jordan Navy.
During the meeting, professional matters of mutual interest and bilateral defense cooperation were discussed. The Naval Chief highlighted the role of Pakistan Navy in regional and maritime security.
The host officials appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Navy for maritime peace and stability in the region. The Naval Chief also observed the anti-terrorism exercise by Jordanian Special Forces.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, the Chief of Naval Staff’s visit to Jordan will further enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.
