President Dr. Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly on the proposal of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri rejected the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister as unconstitutional.
In a short address to the nation after the no-confidence motion was rejected, Imran Khan congratulated all and said that he had sent a proposal to the President to dissolve the National Assembly and the nation should prepare for the next elections.
Now the President has approved the proposal of Prime Minister Imran Khan and dissolved the National Assembly.
In this regard, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Shahbaz Gul said in a tweet on social media that the assemblies have been dissolved.
