ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Control Center (NCCOC) has banned inter-provincial transport in the country for two days.

According to ARY News, the NCOC has banned inter-provincial transport in the country for Saturday and Sunday. The transport will continue from Monday to Friday.

The NCOC says the ban will remain in place from April 10 to 25, with freight, medical and emergency services exempt.

According to the NCOC, the trains will be operational with 70 per cent passengers, and the ban will be reviewed on April 20.

It should be noted that 81 more people died from Corona in the country and more than 5000 cases have also been reported.

According to the NCOC, 55,605 tests for corona were carried out across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 5,020 people tested positive for the corona virus and 81 died of the virus.

According to the official portal, the rate of positive cases of corona in the country during the last 24 hours was 9%.

According to the official portal, the number of deaths from Corona in the country has risen to 14778 and the total number of cases has reached 687908 while the number of active cases is 60072.

In addition, 3367 patients across the country have recovered from Corona in 24 hours, bringing the total number of those who have recovered to 61,058.
