It may be recalled that the Indian government had announced the opening of Kartarpur corridor from November 19. In this regard, Inderjit Singh, a member of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, had said in his statement that India has decided to open the corridor after one year and 10 months.
It may be recalled that due to Corona, India had closed the corridor from March 16, 2020 and the Sikh MPs of BJP had requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to open the Kartarpur corridor.
Baba Guru Nanak’s birthday celebrations will be held from November 17 to 26. Sikh pilgrims from all over the world are allowed to attend the celebrations.
