In-house change in Punjab Province of Pakistan just knocking the door. It was very difficult to even imagine for a change in provincial assembly of Punjab, few days back, but it’s really happening now. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif is freed from bars. Shahbaz Sharif is also getting noticed following his polite stance towards establishment and government institutions. More interestingly, some of PTI sources are confirming support of PTI MPA’s in Punjab Assembly for Mian Muhammas Shahbaz Sharif, Ex-Chief Minister of Punjab. Why so? Why PTI is losing battle in Punjab? Why PTI leadership is not doing enough to hold the chair in Punjab?
Answers to all these above questions are so simply in manner and yet complex to be expressed. Captain of the team in Punjab is surely not worthy to this rank and opposition as there are big guns chanting slogans against PTI in Provincial Assembly. Neither PTI as a political party doing enough to tackle tactics of opposition, nor Sardar Usman Buzdar capable enough to handle the ongoing situation in Punjab. There are also rumors of settlement with Mian Shahbaz Sharif & Company instead of any kind of patch up with Mian Nawaz Sharif & Company or with Maryam Nawaz Sharif in particular.
Politics in Punjab is rapidly changing its behavior. PDM was expecting to get a boost for its campaign against PTI led Federal Government from Punjab but unfortunately It didn’t happened as was planned by PDM Alliance. PDM seems to be voicing only for Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif rather than for general public. PDM lime light is MN centralized. There is no specific agenda which could light anger of general public against PTI regime. PMLN just want to avail a safe passage for Maryam Nawaz Sharif and also to spare positive face of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Currently PPP is getting noticed in Punjab also. PPP parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly, Syed Hassan Murtaza, is also vocal to major issues of public interest. Further to the bail of Hamza Shahbaz, PPP also showed some interest to support Hamza Shahbaz for in-house change in Punjab. Hamza Shahbaz is Parliamentary Leader of PMLN in Punjab Assembly but interestingly, Maryam Nawaz may not feel good, if Hamza gets the top political post in Punjab.
Cards are scattered in Punjab politics. Whoever acts wisely will get fruitful results out of current political scenario in Punjab.
