ICDO Organized the Certificate Distribution Seminar in Vienna

VIENNA: “International Cultural Diversity Organization” (ICDO) organized the Certificate Distribution Ceremony in Vienna, Austria. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Ms. Josipa Palac – CEO and President of ICDO. Journalists, photographers and artists working in Austria were invited.

Among the guests who attended the event Ms. Josipa Palac – ICDO CEO and President,Mr. Toni Pehar – ICDO CFO and Treasurer, Ms. Isidora Colic – Project and Media Communications Manager, Ms. Lucia Kristova – ICDO Team Member Ms. Shaley George – Moderator, Ms. Anita Zecic – Artist (participated at the “Peace and Cultural Diversity” Art Exhibition), Mr. Michael Petri – Photographer and Mr. Muhammad Amir Siddique International Pakistani Journalist were included.

Specially speaking on this occasion and telling about his organization Ms. Josipa Palac – CEO and President of ICDO Said that The International Cultural Diversity Organization (ICDO) is an Austrian-registered NGO that safeguards, promotes, raises awareness, and takes action about cultural differences and encourages participation in social life through global social development projects, initiatives and humanitarian aids.

In addition, ICDO conserves biodiversity for the wellbeing of humanity. ICDO has different projects in ten (10) countries worldwide: in the USA (with Obagi Medical and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas); Mexico (with indigenous Maya people); Colombia; Bosnia and Herzegovina (with youth from three ethnicities); Austria; Ukraine (ICDO’s Ukraine Emergency Relief that supported thousands of Ukrainian refugees); South Africa: Egypt; Croatia; Italy.

Based on the principle that culture is a basic need, the ICDO’s mission is to bridge diversity by taking action, promoting interculturality and raising awareness of different cultural expressions and their values, in order to encourage the development of social interaction. ICDO follows a modern way of communication with assertiveness and proactivity, taking into consideration today’s trends, creativity, set of tools, and different groups of people. About the Long Nights of Interculturality 2022:

The Long Nights of interculturality is ICDO’s annual, public festival under the patronage of UNESCO, and hosted every year in September. The fifth edition of the Long Nights of Interculturality, hosted in the most prominent locations in Vienna from September 12-18, 2022, reached 400,000 people worldwide. The seven-day festival, under the theme of “Peace and Cultural Diversity”, promoted diversity, inclusion, tolerance, sustainability and human rights through different events such as:

Opening Ceremony and “ICDO’s Costumes of the World”, that attracted more than 700 attendees and featured 151 traditional costumes from 28 countries. Art Exhibition “Peace and Cultural Diversity” that featured art works of 41 renowned, international artists. Three panel discussions that opened a dialogue between 11 prominent experts and professionals from different fields. In the end, certificates were given to all the people. It should be remembered that Muhammad Amir Siddique is the first Pakistani journalist who has received the honor of being awarded the certificate and award for the best Journalist by the International Cultural Diversity Organization (ICDO).
