ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistani ambassador to South Korea Shaukat Muqaddam’s daughter Noor Muqaddam’s post-mortem report has come to light in the murder case.
The post-mortem report received by the police said that the death of the victim was due to the cut off of oxygen supply to the brain. Several marks of torture were also found on the body of the victim.
According to the report, the head of the victim was severed from the torso. There are several marks of wounds on the lower part of the victim’s knee.
Sources said that the material taken from the stomach of the victim has also been sent to the laboratory for forensics, however, the report has not been received by the police yet.
Police have arrested a suspect in the case, Zahir Jaffer, whose name has been processed for inclusion in the ECL, sources said, adding that a request has been forwarded to the Chief Commissioner’s Office. And now the Home Ministry will add its name to the ECL after approval from the Cabinet Committee.
It is to be noted that on the night of Eid, a decapitated body was found in Sector F-Seven area of the federal capital Islamabad. When they reached there, they also found accused Zahir Jaffar, who was not intoxicated.
It is not yet clear who informed the police, who tied the hands and feet of the accused, it is also known that Noor Muqadam and accused Jaffar were friends, the victim went to Lahore with friends two days ago. So she left home in the absence of her father and mother, but then she went to Jafar’s house and stayed at his house for two days.
Police say Noor’s neck was not cut with a saw, but with a knife. Police also say that the accused has been in the UK. On the instructions of IG Islamabad Qazi Jamil, the accused was sent abroad to England. Criminal records will also be taken from the United States.

It is believed that the police say that the accused Zahir Jaffar has killed Noor Muqadam, however, many questions have arisen in this case, the answers of which have not been provided by the police yet. When there was no eyewitness on the spot, the police Who were the informants? When the police arrived, the accused was found with his hands and feet tied. Who tied his hands and feet? Noor and the accused, if I had a quarrel over what? If the accused was not intoxicated, why did he cut his neck so brutally?
On the other hand, the former ambassador’s organization has reacted strongly to the incident, the former ambassador said in a statement that he condemns the killing of the daughter of former ambassador Shaukat Ali Muqaddam, and demands from the government that Miss Noor’s The killer should be given an ideal punishment. The association fears that the culprit may not escape by taking advantage of dual citizenship.
The former ambassador said that if the police and the prosecutor bring out the complete medical and criminal record of the culprit, the monitoring of this case will lead to a reduction in the high rate of crime against women.
