Lahore : Private Theatres administration called for protest against Punjab Arts Council administration as Lahore Arts council has been still violating the NCOC & Government of the Punjab orders by presenting stage dramas at their theatres/halls illegally and unlawfully. Artists fraternity asked for rules supremacy across the boards.
It has been learnt that in spite of the ban theatres have been running unlawfully and Punjab Arts council Administration as per its jurisdiction has been closing the theatres by registering FIR against the Administration of private theatres.
However , Alhamrah Arts Council is not following the orders by Government of the Punjab. Sources claimed that artists are protesting against double standards and discrimination of Punjab Arts Council,Lahore as there is complete silence over the unlawful and illegal act of Lahore Arts Council.
