Faryab: 20 Afghan Army commandos were killed in clashes with Taliban in Faryab province.

According to Afghan media, Afghan army commandos and local security personnel launched an operation against the Taliban in Daulatabad district of Faryab province, after which about 20 commandos were killed and six others were injured in the clashes. The commandos belonged to the army. The government has not yet confirmed the deaths.

On the other hand, since the peace process in Afghanistan, clashes between the Taliban and security forces have escalated, with clashes continuing in more than 80 Afghan districts, killing about 100 Taliban and 90 officials so far.
