ISLAMABAD: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has raised the question of how the inspection commission headed by Imran Khan will take action against their ATMs.

Talking to the media on the sidelines of the Islamabad High Court hearing to remove the objections of the Registrar’s Office on the petition filed in the Avonfield reference, Maryam Nawaz said, “Where are the JITs on Pandora Papers and other scandals?”

Responding to a question from the Prime Minister about the announcement of an inquiry cell on Pakistanis in the Pandora Papers, Nawaz said, “How will the inspection commission headed by Imran Khan take action against their ATMs?”

Talking about the extension of NAB chairman’s tenure, the PML-N leader said that extension of NAB chairman was illegal and unconstitutional and hoped that the extension of NAB chairman would be rejected by the court.

Talking about the gifts received by the Prime Minister from the world leaders, Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan should tell which gifts he has taken and put in his pocket.

When asked about being with Shahbaz Sharif on the miscellaneous petition filed against the sentence in the Avonfield reference, Maryam Nawaz said, “You talk to me, don’t bring the party in the middle.”

Following the removal of the Registrar’s Office’s objections to Maryam Nawaz’s miscellaneous application in the Islamabad High Court, the court directed that the application be fixed for hearing on October 13.
