Washington : The Biden administration imposed sanctions on Russia and deported 10 ambassadors.
According to the news agency, sanctions were imposed on Russia in view of interfering in the elections and cyber attacks.
According to foreign media reports, 32 individuals were banned for interfering in the presidential election.
On the other hand, NATO allies announced their support for Russia in announcing US sanctions.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned the US ambassador over the US sanctions and the Russian Foreign Ministry has announced an early offensive response to the US.
A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said the new US sanctions were contrary to President Biden’s desire to normalize relations with Russia, which has repeatedly warned the United States of the consequences of hostile actions.
