Jalalabad : Three female polio workers killed in Afghanistan

According to Afghan media, three women workers involved in the polio campaign have been killed in two separate shootings in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province.

Local media said that the first incident of firing took place at 11:30 am where unidentified gunmen shot dead a woman on polio duty in Majboorabad area of ​​Jalalabad.

According to Afghan media, the second incident took place an hour later and two female workers were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Lal Qasim Agha area of ​​Jalalabad.

According to Afghan media, the women workers have been identified as Basira, Samina and Nigina, while no group has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
