Islamabad : Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court removes terrorism provisions in Osama Satti murder case
The anti-terrorism court granted the pleas of the accused to remove terrorism provisions from the case but also rejected the bail plea of the arrested ATS officer accused Mudassar.
The court removed the terrorism provisions and referred the case to the District and Sessions Court.
Anti-terrorism court judge Shah Rukh Arjumand delivered a reserved judgment on the petitions seeking removal of terrorism provisions. The accused policemen are accused of killing student Osama Satti.
Meanwhile, the plaintiff announced to challenge the decision in the High Court. Lawyer Raja Faisal Younis said that he would challenge the decision of the ATC in the High Court, even if he had to go to the Supreme Court because there is solid evidence against the accused.
