ISlamabad : Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed surprise at the noise made by the United States at the Climate Change Conference when Pakistan was not invited.
In a statement on social media, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he was shocked by the noise made by Pakistan regarding not being invited to the Climate Change Conference. And Green Pakistan is committed to providing.
I am puzzled at the cacophony over Pak not being invited to a climate change conf! My govt's environment policies are driven solely by our commitment to our future generations of a clean & green Pakistan to mitigate the impact of climate change.

He further said that we have taken initiatives like Clean Green Pakistan, Billion Train Tsunami, Natural Solutions and River Cleanup, launched Billion Tree Tsunami Project from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and gained a lot of experience over the last 7 years. Recognized and appreciated, if any state wants to learn from us, we are ready for it.

Imran Khan added in his statement that he had already set priorities for the UN Climate Change Conference and could co-operate if the international community was serious about tackling the issue of climate change.
Hence our initiatives of Green Pak, 10 bn-tree tsunami, nature based solutions, cleaning up our rivers etc. We have gained vast experience in 7 yrs, beg with KP, & our policies are being recognised & lauded. We are ready to help any state wanting to learn from our experience.
