MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said in response to a public question why he had not publicly administered the Cod 19 vaccine, saying he was not an ape who imitated other world leaders.

According to Russian media, President Vladimir Putin said in an interview that he did not vaccinate him live on television like other world leaders did.

On this occasion, he gave the example of a monkey and said that like monkeys imitate others, I cannot do that.

“Just because other world leaders have been vaccinated on TV, I don’t need to follow them,” he said.

Sputnik, a locally produced coronavirus vaccine, is widely used in Russia, and is being used by other countries.
