Lahore (Sohail Imran-Geo News): The replacement draft of foreign players for the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Six has been completed.

Due to the unavailability of most foreign cricketers for the remaining matches of the PSL, the players’ replacement draft was held on Tuesday.

In the online draft, Lahore Qalandars included Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in the platinum category.

Quetta Gladiators fielded Andre Russell of West Indies, Karachi Kings fielded Martin Guptill of New Zealand, Islamabad United fielded Usman Khawaja of Australia while Multan Sultans fielded Mahmudullah of Bangladesh.

Australian cricketers James Faulkner, Joe Burns and Callum Ferguson have also become part of the Lahore Qalandars, while Sekoge Prasana has also been selected by the Lahore Qalandars in the supplementary category.

Sri Lanka’s Thisara Perera was selected by the Karachi Kings squad in the Diamond category while George Linde has been included in the Multan Sultans.

Players matured in the replacement draft will not be directly available to the team in the seventh edition.

The remaining matches of PSL will be played in Karachi from June 1, the matches in double headers will be at five and ten o’clock while the match in single header will start at eight o’clock at night.
