ISlamabad : The Federal Board of Revenue has collected record taxes in the first nine months of this year and the Prime Minister has commended the FBR for its success.
In the first nine months of the year, the FBR collected Rs 3,380 billion in taxes from July to March, an increase of 10 per cent over the previous year.
The FBR raised tax collections by 41% to Rs 460 billion in March.
Prime Minister Imran Khan while praising the efforts of FBR said that FBR achieved a historic growth of 41% in March 2021, Rs 460 billion was collected in March 2021.

The Prime Minister tweeted that the collection had reached 3380 billion from July 2020 to March 2021, an increase of 10 per cent over the same period last year, reflecting a broad-based economic recovery from government policies.
