Swabi: Police has arrested another person in the murder case of slain Swat judge Aftab Afridi.
Bilal Khan Afridi, son of Abdul Jalil Afridi, arrested in the murder case of slain Judge Aftab Afridi, a resident of Masho Meera Badha Beira Peshawar, allegedly confessed to the crime before the police.
DPO Swabi Muhammad Shoaib told an emergency press conference that three people have been arrested so far in the brutal murder of four people, including the slain Aftab Afridi. The arrested accused Bilal Afridi was produced in court for judicial remand.
The arrested man along with his accomplices allegedly opened fire on Judge Aftab Afridi’s car on April 4 within the Swabi area of Peshawar Motorway, killing Judge Aftab Afridi of ATC Court Swat and his wife, daughter-in-law, grandson Two of the judge’s bodyguards, a gunman and a driver, were seriously injured.
