Lahore: For the first time in history, a PIA flight took the national team to South Africa.
According to the PIA spokesperson, for the first time in history, a direct flight has departed from Pakistan for South Africa. A special PIA plane took the national cricket team from Lahore to Johannesburg which took 11 hours to reach South Africa.
PIA spokesman said it would be the first Pakistani-flagged aircraft to land on South African soil, with Pakistanis arriving in Lahore on March 27 on the same plane from Johannesburg.
