Lahore: Peace Leadership Conference 2022 was held under the auspices of Pakistan Federal Union of Columnists (PFUC) at Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Trust Lahore.
President PFUC Rana Ali Zohaib, Ex President Abdul Majid Malik, Vice President Shehzad Roshan Gillani, Secretary General Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Deputy Secretary General Waris Pracha, Joint Secretary Mariya Sohail, Information Secretary Tuseef Ali Butt, Secretary Coordination Waqar Aslam, President Central Punjab Nadeem Sheikh along with PFUC members Senior Anchor Person Tauqir Nasser, Mirza Rizwan, Sadia Khalid, Ehsan Khan, Muhammad Rizwan Butt and a large number of people belonging to different sects of thought participated in peace leadership conference 2022.
Colonel Retired ZI Farrukh, President PFUC Rana Ali Zohaib, Senior Assistant Registrar Virtual University Shehzad Chaudhry, Professor Amna Malik, Chairman Pakistan Youth Council for Peace Interfaith Harmony Asif Khurshid and Dr. Mohsin Wasim-ur-Rehman addressed the conference.

The conference started with recitation of Holy Quran. Columnist Mirza Rizwan offered NAAT and member PFUC Hussam Durrani performed the duties of the stage secretary.
At the beginning of the program, President PFUC Rana Ali Zohaib welcomed the participants and introduced the distinguished guests.
In his address, Colonel Farrukh said that we should learn from past, the separation of East Pakistan was a political failure, those who moved the strings did not understand at that time, but today is still the time, if you understand, it is not too late.
In his address, Shahzad Chaudhry said that unfortunately the purpose of media in the country is only to earn money, bakers build media houses to give shelter to their business, journalism is now business.
In her speech, Professor Amna Malik said that the education system of our country is the main cause of our ruin, media children are taught something in institutions but when they enter the field, a different world welcomes them. We must always remember the moral values of Journalism.
Chairman Pakistan Youth Council for Peace Interfaith Harmony Asif Khurshid said in his speech that unfortunately our media organizations are failing to work for peace and the biggest reason for this failure is believing what they hear. Research is necessary to convey the real facts to the people.
At the end of the program, the distinguished guests were entertained with refreshment.
