A special fair on the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day was organized by Pak Friends Austria at 12 noon on Sunday, August 11 at Danu Park 22 district in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Pakistanis around the world celebrate their independence on August 14. Who come together dressed in their traditional clothes, which brings peace and joy to the viewer and fulfills their duty of love for the country of Pakistan and being patriotic Pakistanis.
Pak Friend Austria, a celebration of Independence Day was organized in Vienna, the capital of Austria, to celebrate the 14th August Independence Day. The fair started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, which was blessed by Muhammad Zafar. Maqsood Mughal presented the Naat of (PBUH) with great devotion. Syed Ghalib Hussain Shah performed the duties of stage secretary well. The purpose of the fair was to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day and show solidarity and unity in the community.
In which the members of the Pakistani community made a record participation and doubled the happiness of the Independence Day abroad. Political, social, religious, literary, students and business personalities of Pakistani and international community participated in this occasion. On this occasion, Pakistani Community Affairs Consul of Pakistan Embassy in Vienna, Shahzad Salim and the staff of the Embassy of Pakistan, along with the Pakistani community visited other European countries and distant cities of Austria, Sankt Pölten, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Linz, Horn and A large number of women and children, young people and elderly people participated in the ceremony.

His Excellency Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Kamran Akhtar Malik was the chief guest of the Independence Day celebration. In his brief address, Ambassador said, “On behalf of myself and the officials of the Pakistani Embassy, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the people on this joyous occasion of Independence Day.” Appreciating the organization of the fair on this occasion, he highlighted the efforts of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the establishment of Pakistan.

He further expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Pak Friend Austria who congratulated the Pakistani community for bringing together the Pakistani community, highlighting the culture and traditions of Pakistan. His Excellency Ambassador Highlighted the historical aspects and paid tribute to the founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah. President Pakistan Friend Allama Ghulam Mustafa Baloch said that the purpose of Independence Day celebration (Jashan-E- Azadi Mela) is to tell future generations how Pakistan came into existence.
Chairman of Kashmir Affairs Committee Professor Shaukat Musrat Awan in his speech on this occasion congratulated all Pakistanis on August 14 and said that we want Pakistani and Kashmiri communities in Austria to always kiss the foot of success and the country of Pakistan. Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa Gujjar and Chaudhry Choudhary Azhar Virk, guests from Salzburg, Austria, kept gifts for all the children who came to the fair. Which remains the center of interest of children. Questions were asked to increase the knowledge of the children and prizes were distributed to them. Mrs. Rizwana Kazmi Akhtar, wife of Pakistan Ambassador Muhammad Kamran Akhtar Malik, first lady of Austria, distributed the prizes among the winning children and in short address, She said that Pakistani women are developing in the world, we are proud that we are Pakistanis.
