ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is likely to get more relief in repayment of loans from G20 countries.

Sources said that the World Bank, IMF will appeal to 20 countries this week to defer their loans till December.

According to sources, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has started preparing recommendations for late loans.

The sources further said that Pakistan is likely to get relief of about ً 900 million from the G20 countries which is expected from July to December 2021.

According to sources, the G20 countries are considering deferring loans from low-income and developing countries to deal with Corona.

It may be recalled that the G20 countries have already deferred loans at the request of the World Bank and the IMF.
