ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has purchased large quantities of corona vaccine from China, including cyanoform, cyanovic and can cyanovic vaccines.
According to the details, Pakistan has procured a large quantity of corona vaccine. Sources from the National Institutes of Health said that the corona vaccine has been procured from China and more than 27.5 million doses have been agreed upon.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) said that the vaccines procured from Pakistan include cyanoform, cyanovic, can cyanovic vaccines, raw materials and ready-made corona vaccines from Chinese companies.
According to sources, an agreement has been reached for the purchase of 23 million doses of CyanoFarm. CyanoFarm will provide phase-wise vaccine to Pakistan by December, while more than 2 million ready-made vaccines and raw materials have been agreed with CenoFinum.
Sources at the National Institutes of Health said that Pakistan had purchased 2.5 million doses of the vaccine from Sinowek.
It may be recalled that on June 9, a meeting of the Economic Co-ordination Committee chaired by Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen had approved 1 1 billion for the purchase of Corona vaccine and said that 1 1 billion worth of Cane Cyano, Cyanoform, Cyano Week and Pfizer vaccines would be purchased.
