Islamabad: The parade on the occasion of Pakistan Day has started. Civil, military leadership and foreign dignitaries are participating in the parade.
Troops of the three armed forces and other security forces are taking part in the march past in the Pakistan Day parade while fighter jets performed aerial stunts.
As soon as the Pakistan Day Parade started, the atmosphere resounded with the slogans of Takbir. Defense equipment was displayed in the parade.
The parade is attended by civil, military and foreign dignitaries, as well as delegations from the four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
Mobile services are suspended in the twin cities during the parade, while Islamabad and Rawalpindi are on public holiday.
It may be recalled that the Pakistan Day parade was postponed on March 23 due to inclement weather.
