No-Confidence Motion Against Prime Minister Imran Khan Filed

ISLAMABAD: Opposition has filed a No-Confidence Motion Against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The decision to file the no-confidence motion was taken at a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary party.

Shahida Akhtar Ali, Maryam Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Shazia Murree, Naveed Qamar, Rana Sanaullah and Ayaz Sadiq had reached the National Assembly Secretariat to recuse the National Assembly session and submit no-confidence motion.

According to sources, the motion filed by the opposition in the National Assembly has the signatures of 86 opposition members.

According to sources, the opposition currently has 162 members while the opposition claims that it has the support of 24 government members.

At a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary party, the PML-N leadership has directed all members to stay in Islamabad for the next 20 days.

Sources said that the league leadership told its members that next 3 weeks are very important so absence from Islamabad will not be tolerated in any case.

In a meeting of the parliamentary party, Shahbaz Sharif said that presenting a no-confidence motion would be a historic defeat for the government.

Sources said that the opposition has claimed that they have completed the numbers and at present they have the support of 197 to 202 members.

Sources said that the opposition has also claimed the support of 27 members of PTI and members of a coalition party.
