Islamabad (Shahid Kazmi – Raztv.net) NCOC meeting ended in Islamabad. Shafqat Mahmood Presided the meeting. O level examinations will be held according to schedule, said Shafqat Mahmood in a Press Briefing after the meeting.

No classes in Covid19 affected Districts till 28th of April. Situation will be observed after 28th April. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade classes are going to be held after 19th April following Covid19 SOPs.

Examinations are going to be held after the announced date of 4th of May but not earlier than 24th of May. Universities are also advised to delay the enrollment process as per examinations schedule. Universities will also be closed in Covid19 affected areas.

The Provincial Health and Education Ministers proposed that O & A Level’s examination process may held as per schedule and plans. Less number of students in this foreign education system is a big reason for not delaying O & A Level exams according to Covid19 SOPs.

Shafqat Mahmood also briefed the media that the examination process is also in progress in all neighboring countries. Shafqat Mahmood further added that there will be strict check and balance for Covid19 SOPs.

All provincial and federal Ministers for Education and Health will examine the situation after 28th of April regarding the opening of 1st to 8th class. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes are going to be held in strict compliance of Corona SOPs after 19th of April 2021.

NCOC will meet again after the given schedule to rethink on strategy to open educational Institutions. After Eid ul Fitr, decisions will be taken according to situation and Covid-19 fact and figures. Proposal was tabled by the Health Ministry to close educational institutions.
