The Entire Nation Salutes the Young Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed

ISLAMABAD: Young pilot officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed was greeted by the entire nation on the 50th day of his martyrdom.

According to details, the 50th martyrdom anniversary of Rashid Minhas Shaheed, a young pilot officer of Pakistan Air Force, is being commemorated today. On this occasion, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in his message on social networking website Twitter The nation will always remember the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country and for the enlightened history of determination and loyalty.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid in his message on the day of martyrdom of Rashid Minhas Shaheed said that the death of a martyr is the life of the nation. ۔

Punjab government spokesman Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan in his message said that the sacrifices of brave martyrs like Rashid Minhas are ensuring the security of the country. Only such brave grandsons change the destiny of nations.

On the 50th martyrdom anniversary of Rashid Minhas Shaheed, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said in his message that the entire nation is proud of the courage and bravery of Rashid Manhas Shaheed, he preferred to sacrifice his life for the sake of the country.

It is believed that the 50th martyrdom anniversary of Rashid Minhas Shaheed Nishan Haider is being celebrated with devotion and respect. Rashid Manhas had foiled his attempt to hijack his instructor’s plane.

Nishan Haider Rashid Minhas Shaheed was born on February 17, 1951 in Karachi. He was commissioned in the 51st GDP Course of Pakistan Air Force on March 14, 1971. On August 20, 1971, an unforgettable story of bravery was written in the air of Karachi.

Instructor pilot Mati-ur-Rehman tried to take the plane to India after hijacking it. Rashid Manhas martyred the plane before it crossed the national border.
