ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that mosques will remain open with Corona SOPs during Ramadan.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri while addressing a function of national memorization and recitation competition organized by the ministry at Faisal Masjid said that mosques would remain open with Corona SOPs during Ramadan.
Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that there is a special relationship between Ramadan and the Qur’an. Along with Ramadan, the Qur’an should be read and recited as much as possible in ordinary days. I am trying to introduce the culture of the Qur’an to break the culture of dancing and singing.
He said that Qiyam-ul-Layl is being organized in the last decade of Ramadan under the auspices of the Da’wah and Ziarat Wing of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. And the names of security guards were sought from Islamabad district. After district and provincial level competitions from all areas, 48 guards and readers took part in the national competition while the competition was postponed due to Karuna epidemic in Sindh province.
