Islamabad : Cases of alleged fraud and money laundering have been registered against ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen.

According to Geo News, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore investigation team has registered a case of alleged fraud of Rs 3.14 billion on March 22.

The FIR states that Jahangir Tareen allegedly transferred illegal shares worth billions of rupees to Pulp Company.

According to the FIR, the shares were transferred from JDW to Pulp Company through fraud while action is also being taken against the remaining officials of the company.

Money laundering case also registered
Money laundering FIR has also been registered against Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen.

The FIA ​​has registered a case of money laundering of Rs2.2 billion against Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen.

The FIA’s allegations are baseless
Talking to Geo News, Jahangir Tareen said that the allegations of FIA are baseless, the private audit firm has already validated the accounts of my companies.

Jahangir Tareen took the position that all the shares were transferred in accordance with the law and accounts law.
