“LOCKDOWN DAYS”

In 2020, came a pandemic
To the world to alter our lives
No more we could hangout
But only crave for street food and going out

Colleges routes were blocked
And highways shut off
Public reaction wasn’t good
Since we were locked in our rooms

Cooking and binging was fun though
But nothing was left to watch anymore
Gradually economic stress increased
And managing emotions posted a challenge

Eyes were losing their glitter,
Wishing those days pass quicker
Fingers crossed, coins tossed
All came together to strive for life

Supporting each other
In such a gloomy atmosphere

Finally one day, all were seen smiling
And rejoicing with hopes of delight.
