Lahore: 6th grand convocation was held at Leeds University, Lahore. A large number of male and female students including Chairman Leeds University Mian Zahoor Ahmed Watto and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Deem Bhatti, Executive Director Asad Zahoor Vattoo Registrar Dr. Saeed Ahmed Vito participated in the convocation. More than 1100 students were awarded degrees in the grand convocation ceremony.

In the convocation, the highest award of the university, the “Founder Medal”, was announced for the student Muhammad Abdul Wahab, who completed his MPhil degree from the Department of Mass Communication. All the students who participated in the ceremony applauded Muhammad Abdul Wahab standing on their seats.

Speaking on this occasion, student Muhammad Abdul Wahab said that “First of all I thank Allah that I was awarded the highest award gold medal cum founder medal today. He further said that due to the prayers of my parents and the hard work of my teachers, I was fortunate to see this day today”.

Speaking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Lahore Leeds University Dr. Nadeem Bhatti said that Lahore Leeds University has been affiliated with Canadian and Malaysian universities. All students can get information from University of Leeds for study abroad.

In his address, Chairman Zahoor Wattoo congratulated all the students who got their degrees and said that they are praying for the bright future of the students of Leeds University of Lahore.
