LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to inform Maryam Nawaz 10 days before her arrest in the Jati Umrah land case.

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) heard Maryam Nawaz’s bail plea in the Jati Umrah land case in which Maryam Nawaz appeared in the court while Special Prosecutor Faisal Bukhari appeared in the court on behalf of NAB.

The NAB prosecutor told the court that no arrest warrant had been issued for Maryam Nawaz and a reply was filed on April 10.

Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar said that the NAB should be required to be notified 10 days before the issuance of the warrant. The NAB prosecutor replied that Azam Nazir would be informed.

The court directed Azam Nazir that you can approach the court on the issuance of the warrant.
