Who is Prachi Gupta ? We often start believing that we should choose one path at a time or we can be good in just one domain. If we multi-task, we will fail. But the truth however, I feel is that, if we are doing many things all of which we love doing we can achieve success in all them!
Recently I got to know one such lady who is pursuing all her passions, living all her dreams and is immensely successful and popular in all her undertakings! She is Prachi Gupta!
Prachi Gupta is a bestselling author of five fiction books, global speaker, state woman president of a political party and the founder of a literary startup. She’s the first writer from India to get into the top 10 finalist of the ‘Author Elite Awards 2020’ earlier known as the Author Academy Awards.
She has studied creative and film writing from Michigan State University, Michigan, USA. She is constantly working for women empowerment and helping debut authors get published easily through her startup named, Huddle Books. She started off as a software professional and turned into a writer, now, motivating lakhs of people through her words. She has numerous laurels to her name, hold many prominent positions, politically active and a true humanitarian. Let’s find out the journey of this inspiring lady.
She began her career as a software engineer and had never thought of being a professional writer but destiny had something else planned for her. This transition was totally unexpected. Literature as a career was unexplored territory for her. She and her brother only had a wonderful story and a lot of determination to share with all. Even after all the major publications turned their proposal down, they did not lose hope and decided to self-publish their book instead. Overcoming all the obstacles coming in their way, she and her brother became the youngest “Bestselling Sibling Pair of India”. The hassle of publishing led her to start the venture ‘Huddle Books’ with the intention of promoting literature and creating the launchpad for the novice writers.
While exploring the career prospects in civil services in India, she realized her passion for writing and chose to persevere despite facing disapproval. And everything followed suit. Under some circumstances and peer pressure in 2017, she reached a point where she felt to give up on writing but her strong will and passion didn’t let her quit which led her to the culmination. That was just a phase, and at the present day, she’s motivating others to follow the path where their heart lies. She feels education is the basic building block of a person, society and nation. The more the well-educated the people and girls are, the more uplifted is the society and the nation on the whole.

Being a youth she empathizes with young hearts and thus, her books, centered around the theme- romantic comedies- have a quotient of inspiration in them. Her first book, Accidentally Cupid, is very close to her heart as it proved to be a treat for her writing testament. She feels elated when people relate themselves to her story and tell her how it changed their perspective towards life. Owing to the popularity of this book, it later got picked up by Fingerprint Publishing and is now sold by the name, ‘Right from the start…she stole his heart’. Her motto is to teach people never to give up and she strongly believes in the quote,

This book got her an award in Nigeria last year making her the most outstanding female inspiring author of the year. Through this story people get to learn about kindness and courage.
