ATHENS : As part of intensive diplomatic efforts, Tanveer Chaudhry, a senior leader of the JKLF has travelled from Finland to Athens to attend the Athens Democracy Forum.
He has met with head of the Athens Democracy Forum, Mr. Achilles Tsaltas and discussed democratic conditions of the forcibly divided home state of Jammu Kashmir. Mr Chaudhry has also met with the exiled Belarus leader Mr. Svetlana, among other, activists, diplomats and representatives of Think Tanks.
A senior JKLF leader Raja Muzaffar Khan from the USA and Quayyum Raja from Azad Kashmir have welcomed the said meetings and thanked Athens Democracy Forum for its invitation to jklf representative Tanveer Chaudhry. They said it is need of the hour to intensify both diplomatic and democratic activities and links at home and abroad.
