Islamabad: Several people were injured in an explosion at the gate of Imambargah located in Tarlai area of Islamabad.
Police and rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene, while IG Islamabad has imposed an emergency in Islamabad, and several injured are at the scene.
Emergency has been imposed at the federal capital’s Polyclinic, PIMS and CDA Hospital.
According to police sources, the bomb disposal squad is investigating the nature of the explosion.
The injured are being shifted to PIMS and Polyclinic Hospital. The main emergency, orthopedic, burn center and neuro departments are active.
According to the district administration Islamabad, 10 injured people have been shifted to PIMS Hospital so far in the explosion, while the injured are being shifted to different hospitals.
According to the district administration spokesperson, the blast site has been completely sealed.
