ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the pleas of Nawaz Sharif to stop the auction of his property and ruled that the petitioners, according to the citizens, had bought Nawaz Sharif’s properties but the accountability court rejected the petition. He has an interest in the property being auctioned off. Nawaz Sharif’s agreement to sell the properties was not implemented. He who implemented it did not have the authority.
Significant progress has been made in the Tosha Khana reference in Nawaz Sharif’s requests to stop the auction of properties. A bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Amir Farooq heard the petitions against the decision to auction Nawaz Sharif’s property in the Tosha Khana reference.
Qazi Misbah-ul-Hassan, counsel for the petitioners, argued that the accountability court had ordered auction of Nawaz Sharif’s property, but the three petitioners have shares in Nawaz Sharif’s properties. Bought but still in possession of Nawaz Sharif.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah asked that the petitioners are considering the land as their property but did not present any evidence, what is the agreement of these properties, no signature?
