Lahore:  Indoor and outdoor weddings have been banned in Punjab from April 1.

A meeting of the Anti-Corona Cabinet Committee was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar in which important decisions were taken and strict measures were approved in view of the severity of Corona.

The Cabinet Committee approved a strategy to strictly implement the decisions of the NCOC, after which a policy of micro-smart lockdown will be adopted across the province.

According to the decisions, indoor and outdoor weddings have been banned from April 1. The meeting also decided to close parks and restaurants while only takeaways will be allowed. Masks will be strictly prohibited, and those who do not wear masks will be fined, markets will be open until 6 p.m., while the decision to close intra-city transport will be made after consultation.
