India: CDS General Bipin Rawat killed in Helicopter Carsh

New Delhi: The helicopter of the first Chief of Defense General Bipin Rawat of the Indian Army crashed.

CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, Brigadier LS Lider, Lt Col Harjinder Singh, NK Gursewak Singh, NK Jitendra Kumar, L/NK Vivek Kumar, L/NK B Sai Teja, Havildar Satpal were on board the helicopter. 9 people including CDS Bipin Rawat were present in this helicopter.

According to Indian media, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat’s military helicopter crashed near Connor in the state of Tamil Nadu. A search and rescue operation has been launched after the incident.

According to Indian media reports, the helicopter was carrying Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife, family and staff members.

The Indian Air Force has also confirmed on social media that Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat’s Mi-17V5 helicopter has crashed.

A statement issued by the Indian Air Force said that an inquiry has been launched into the cause of the helicopter crash.
